Grand Rapids State Bank recently celebrated the completion of extensive drive-thru improvements at its Pokegama Office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce.

At the heart of the project was a simple goal: to create a better drive-thru experience for our customers. The remodel focused on making the area easier to navigate while updating the space and equipment used to serve customers each day.

As part of the project, approximately 4,000 square feet of existing asphalt was removed and replaced with concrete. The existing concrete islands were removed and redesigned to create wider drive-thru lanes, giving customers more room to move through the area. Additional improvements included new concrete curbing along the building, replacement bollards, an updated drive-thru canopy ceiling and lighting, and new teller equipment.

These improvements represent more than an update to the Pokegama Office. They are an investment in how Grand Rapids State Bank serves customers today and into the future.

For more than 110 years, Grand Rapids State Bank has been proud to serve local residents, businesses, and communities. As banking continues to change, providing convenient ways for customers to bank while maintaining the personal service they know and expect remains an important part of who we are.

We appreciate the patience of our customers throughout the construction process and are excited to welcome them through the newly remodeled drive-thru.
